Introduction to the NDHSA Podcasts

An audio podcast is essentially an internet radio show that can be subscribed to, downloaded, and spread to large audiences at low cost.

Because podcasting is a popular and effective communications tool, the NDHSA is developing a podcast to promote home education broadly throughout the state of North Dakota, to keep North Dakota home educators informed on topics related to and providing content for, home education.

The NDHSA plan calls for the podcasts to begin as a monthly affair and increase the frequency to weekly as time and resources allow.

This podcast is expected to be especially influential as we use these podcasts to educate home schoolers and legislators about home education in preparation for 2009 legislative issues.

Some of the programs will also be run on local radio stations paid for by sponsors of the podcast.

This NDHSA effort to expand its services to North Dakota home educators is expected to increase the number of home educators in the state by spreading helpful and interesting information that will practically benefit home educating families and encourage more families to begin home educating.

If you have questions about these podcasts or would like to suggest topics , persons, or families to interview or have a news item to pass along, please contact the NDHSA office at: 701-263-3727 or email us at: office@ndhsa.org
